I fell in love with my iPad all over again. This week I used it to create a preliminary painting of an idea I wanted to do larger. It was a lot of fun using a digital format to test out colors and composition, but I figured I’d need to still try it out with actual paint.
"You'll never become good at anything, if you're too busy watching others excel."— Myself
I don’t know if anyone famous said this. It was just a thought I had and posted it as a reminder to myself—watch less and act more.
Just found yet another use for the iPad…preliminary painting! Don’t know why I didn’t think of this before, but there you go.
For Kids: Spring Word Search
Just found a cool site that helps you create word searches. My little boy is nuts about these things, so I figure I’d make one for him
Download and print, or import into your favorite iPad drawing app.
If you’re wondering whether or not connecting your Facebook artist page to Twitter is a good idea…check out, “5 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Connect Your Facebook Artist Page to Twitter.”
But, most likely that’s not why you’re here. You’re here, because you want to post on Twitter and don’t have time to update it…that’s perfectly fine. Posting something to Twitter is a little better then not posting something to Twitter…simply for the search factor.
For Kids: “Too Late” Coloring Page
Being late is never good, but being TOO late is even worse.
When people ask me how to connect their Facebook page to Twitter, I feel that most of them really don’t know why they’re asking. The only thought that crossed their mind was, “This will save me time!”
In the past I’ve gone back and forth regarding this topic, but today there’s no waffling.
An artist using social media should never, ever autopost!
I wrote this post, because almost everyday I’m asked the same questions. Do you host you’re own site? How do you do that? And, who do you use? Are they any good, do you like them? It wasn’t until 2011 that I actually became an affiliate of Bluehost, but even before then I would always rave about Bluehost. I hope that this post will explain a little why I love them so much.
